Living

Accommodations

Participants who choose the single or shared room options will be staying in homes near Leo Nani Farms or in Hilo on or near the water.  Once housing is assigned, we will connect house-mates so you can organize a rental car. Usually, the first person to arrive rents the car and thus becomes the driver for the week. The other drummers sharing that car will contribute to the 10-day rental. That cost is approx. $100 per person.

If you choose the Kama'aina option, your tuition will not include lodging. This option is offered for local drummers who can commute daily, or participants who plan to lodge with friends near Hilo, rent their own accommodations or camp. These participants will also arrange their own car rentals. Kama'aina participants will enjoy two dinners and daily lunches as part of their tuition package.

We will create a private Facebook group so participants can connect.
