After 16 full seasons of All The Way In, I have decided to take some time in order to take care of some physical issues that, once resolved, can bring me new energy and stability, and to be caregiver for my dear Janne who has been diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia.

 

I announce with great pleasure and confidence that All The Way In 2026 
will be in the very capable hands of Cara Tresize and Sofia Ribeiro.
 

We have spent months talking over all the details so that this innovative and unique program will continue to hold all the essential elements that I initiated, plus the two of them will add their own flavors which is just how it should be. They are  both bringing on guest teachers who will add other skills and collaborations to sessions 2 and 3.

 

Margie Farmer is guiding them through the details of registering singers internationally and managing the retreat centers that will house this new iteration. Margie and I are both very excited to pass this work on to Cara and Sofia.

 

I will be in close contact with them during the year to help guide the process but believe me, they have this in hand. They are eager to begin and to welcome you to these sessions that are life changing for sure and very often initiate collaborations and friendships that last a lifetime.

 

You will want to be part of this new season, this update, this renovation of All The Way In. Still holding all the elements of Vocal River, Murmuration, intimate performance, community building and the special homework that guide each singer to their next level of musical improvisation quality, joy and courage.

 

Sofia and Cara will teach their first sessions together in the USA so you will get to meet them both if you don’t already know them. Given the turbulent times we are in, it seems good to make these locations a bit more local with fewer borders to cross. Very important to keep that world view and yet each session is in an intimate retreat center or studio setting in carefully chosen locations.  We will begin with ALL THE WAY IN 2026 in Vermont+ Massachusettes+ Vermont. We hope to come back to Europe in 2027.

 

I completely believe in the process I have guided over these 16 years. It is time for the next step.

We want to continue and find cohorts of singers ready to fly.

Rhiannon is excited to announce the new teachers and vocal leaders for this mastery level program: ALL THE WAY IN 2026. . 
We invite you to join Cara and Sofia for All The Way 2026. In each course taught as a series of three long sessions, a total of 21 full teaching days, 6 hours per day, held in three beautiful locations during the year. Each session location is chosen for the creative powers of the community there and the natural beauty of the place, both of which contribute mightily to our study.  We will take a deep dive into the treasure of vocal improvisation. The place, the songs, the invention of each day, the need to be flexible and trusting, the circle of singers, the meeting and parting during the year with time in between to integrate and study - all of this contributes to life-changing musical growth. 
You can count on it.

This course is for 16 to 20 advanced singers with a deep and daily commitment to their voices, musical lives and to building community with song. Students must be committed to the whole series. Singers will be able to develop strong relationships with one another and with Cara and Sofia, as well as having the assurance that each session will reach further into the skills and spirit of improvisation. Admission is by permission from the faculty.
